screens for the Valentine Weekend, as a rom-com treat from Bollywood.
Rahul Kapoor (Imran Khan) is a twenty six year
old guy who is on his way to become just like his parents but on one day, all of
a sudden, he loses his job in Vegas. He worked as an architect there. This
scares him with the thought that he would disappoint his mother and father. This
makes him to think that he should conceal the fact with his father and mother,
and in between he decides to hunt some other job. Eventually due to twist of his
fate, he happens to meet Raina Braganza who is a quick-witted hairstylist and
she is everything what he is not.
In series of some incidents they are lead to meet on Christmas Eve over a few
drinks… but as it happened earlier many times, it is never a ‘few’. Following
this night of wickedness, both of them wake up to find that they have gotten
married. So, at present, Rahul has more than just the loss of his job which he
needs to conceal from his mother and father.
Now both of them decide to get it annulled as ealy as it could be and get a
meeting from the court in 10 days. Over the coming 10 days both of them have
their point of views, moments and laughs that outcomes in an improbable
friendship.
Would this friendship change into love? Would the warmth and fearlessness of
Raina Braganza give Rahul the guts to face a long-simmering conflict with his
mother and father? Would a marriage that began as a drunken error help 2 persons
discover themselves?
